New to blogging but love the idea of having a central place to show the latest pics and update family and friends on what we are up to!

Mardi Gras

We had a little get together with my parents and brother and his girls to have a mini Mardi Gras celebration. Corey and I don't miss New Orleans or anything. :) LOL. We had a fab dinner of hot sausage po'boys and red beans and rice. So yummy! And the girls had a blast playing with their beads! No flashing though...we taught them that asking please gets you more than showing off the good your mama gave you. :)

Colby's Wine & Cheese Party

We had a wonderful time hanging out with friends and family at our "Meet Colby" wine & cheese party. It was quite the mix of people and WAY too much wine (I'm still working on polishing some of it off. hehe)
Thank you to everyone who came- it was great to see you and to catch up a little bit.
And a special thanks to Kate for bringing lots of goodies and helpoing and to Michal- lady without you there wouldn't have been a party. You rock and thank you so much for all of your help! (PS. Michal- sorry but somehow I got no great pictures of you....how is it that that always happens?)

At the park

We had a great time going to the park with Gramma and Grampa last week when we had a very short break in our rainy weather. I think we all needed to get outside some!

Poor Grampa tried to show Hadley how to climb up the psuedo rock wall but she refused to follow him and these things are not made for people over 3.5 feet tall.

Flying with Grampa at the park

"I like to slide and then to rest....it's comfy here."

Colby's first trip to the park

She slept the whole time

Running on the tennis courts

And stomping puddles- Thanks for teaching me that Gramma! It's so fun!

Our Valentines Day party

We had a few friends over for a Valentines Day party. The girls got to decorate cookies and make Valentines together. And play of course! They had a blast and the cookies were yummy!

Mimi helped Hadley make her Valentine- that she them promptly and thoroughly destroyed. So much for saving my kids artwork- she tears everything up!

Darci & Addison

Auntie Dawn, Auntie Toni and Hannah making Valentines

Poor Mia- They even decorated her!

Decorating cookies

Hannah did a very nice job decorating

Addison hard at work

Uh- Hadley got a little over zealous with the sprinkles

Toni had fun dressing up in the girls Valentines tiaras, wands and sunglasses and Hadley's tutu- too funny!

5 minutes of free time

So between having people here, having husbands away, a nw baby, a wild toddler, and NO SLEEP- I am lagging here. So sorry. Here's a quick update. Life is good. The girls are working on a schedule and Hadley is sleeping a little better and Colby is up more but sleeping longer at night. Not great yet, but we're getting there. Juggling two is a challenge, especially without my lovely in-laws here entertaining Hadley. But again, we're getting there.

Here are some random pics from the last couple of weeks.

Gramma getting her baby fix.

Auntie Michal visits again! (We feel spoiled! We've seen her a lot lately! It's great!)

Hadley coloring with Grampa

Uncle Corey finally gets some baby time. He keeps losing out on holding her to everyone else- including Madi!

Relaxing after a long day

Hadley likes to say "Knee Mommy!" This is translated into, "Let me hold the baby Mommy!" And if you try and pick Colby up, Hadle proptly reminds you "Dis MY baby Mommy!"

A real bath in the sink- she loves this much better than the sponge baths. I think those were just way too cold in our drafty old house.

Poor Hadley was just worn out!

Random baby pictures

So they are not in any order yet and I am not trying to take any more time to get them in one right now. Hadley won't nap and my internet is being really slow for some reason. I'll get back on later and update more info. Here's the basics:
